Counter Strike 2: Global Offensive
Valve recently announced that Counter-strike: Global offensive, the sequel to their other very popular pc shooter will also be released on Xbox 360. The original Counter-Strike brought in an intelligent team based combat, many different weapons, semi-realistic physics and some new innovations never before seen in first person shooters.
Concepts such as using money or points to upgrade the unlocking of new stuff were started by the Valve franchise. In this sequel, we can expect to see an improvement to the team-based formula, with lots of new maps and some originals (de_dust), also some new game play modes, along with leader boards. Like the Original Counter-Strike, New Path Entertainment will be helping to develop this game. This is good news, this means that the new game won’t be dramatically different from another company coming in and possibly ruining a very good game. The original Game was thought to be an afterthought to the well known Half-life multiplayer mode, to being a great game that has been flooded by gamers from around the world.
Will this game put its name in history along with the original and will it be consumed as much by gamers from around the world? LETS HOPE SO! This Game is set to come out in Australian stores around March 2012.
